Noosa Leisure Centre and Noosa Library 15th Birthday

It’s fifteen years since thousands of Noosa residents thronged to the opening of Wallace Park to inspect their brand new Library and Noosa Leisure Centre, stroll through the Noosa Parks Environment Centre and admire the crafts at Wallace House.

To celebrate the anniversary, Council is inviting all residents to call into both venues and check out what is on offer for adults, children and families over the week Monday 1st – Sat 6th December. For every person who joins the Library or a Leisure Centre Program in this special week will go into the draw for fabulous prize packs donated by local businesses.

Birthday cake and FREE entertainment for the kids will be flowing on Tuesday 2nd and Thursday 4th Dec from 9.30- 11.30am. The Library will have special Birthday story times at 10am on these days.

Mayor Bob Abbot will give an official Birthday Address on Thurs 4th Dec at 12.30pm in the walkway area between the Leisure Centre and Library.

Both foyers will have displays featuring memorabilia from years gone by and information on the latest Programs so drop in and get involved in two of Council’s most community focused venues. (Please include our promotional flyer attached in the Media release).
